Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Gala

Celebrated every year in October, the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Gala is the only fundraising event that collects funds for these scholarships. Walt Disney World underwrites the entire cost of the Scholarship Gala, which is organized by the Fund, and implemented by volunteers from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, various government agencies, community organizations and many others who believe in one common goal: preparing the road to success for local Hispanic youths! As of 2012, the event changed its title to Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Awards Ceremony, seeking to focus on the award-giving aspect of the event rather than a elebratory occassion.
