Keysor School PTO raises funds and provides support for enrichment activities at Keysor, including financing field trips, author visits, theatre/dance productions, art shows/musical concerts, and other programs.  A key initiative for the past 3 years and this year is to raise funds for Project IDEA, an outdoor extension of our school which will provide a natural space for children of all abilities to learn, play, and explore.  For more information on Project IDEA please see http://project-idea.com/(http://project-idea.com/)

Project IDEA

A natural and inclusive play space for learning in an outdoor classroom and creative open-ended  play.  Each year, the PTO allocates as much as it can toward this project, while continuing to support other key programs.  To date (through 2009-2010 school year) the PTO has contributed more than $36,000.

Funding Needs

While the PTO would always welcome funds to help support student educational programs, our current priority is funding  for Project IDEA, our planned outdoor  classroom extension.  Please see http://project-idea.com(http://project-idea.com) for additional details.  This natural, outdoor play and educational space will be a resource and benefit to children and community-members of all abilities as well as Keysor students.
