The mission of the Denison Homestead is to connect the local community and its descendants to the history, land and environment of its 300-year-old family farm.

In South-Eastern Connecticut the Denison Homestead maintains its 1717 House Museum offering tours, special events such as the Harvest Festival and Christmas at the Homestead, archaeological digs and a lecture series on topics of historical, cultural and geographic interest. In addition the Homestead provides over 75 acres of woodlands and meadows to the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center (a separate 501c3 corporation) under a $1/year lease. Each Sunday from May through October the Dension Farm Market operates on the Militia Meadow adjacent to the Homestead.
