Let Kids Be Kids

Activities geared towards children affected by lupus. LKBK offers free trips for the whole family to fun events around Long Island as well as educational workshops for kids and teens.

Lupus Education Day

Quarterly meetings developed to help those newly diagnosed with lupus to better understand their disease: learn about current treatments, coping skills, self-management tools, as well as understanding lab tests, communicating with their doctor, and how to live well with lupus. Groups are small to encourage interaction. Family members and care givers are also invited to attend.

Lupus Advocates

Our Lupus Advocates communicate with elected officials about legislation and other matters related to lupus. Lupus Advocates give a much needed voice to lupus in Albany and Washington, DC. Lupus Advocates will receive our e-Advocacy news information.
