  4. How will they know if they are making progress?
We utilize the capabilitiesl of our alumni to regularly use regular and electronic mail to reach a greater number of alumni thereby strenthening the network among past pupils of the St. Rose’s High School (Ursuline Convent) worldwide.
We communicate on an ongoing basis using the various sociial media with our membership and the administration of St. Rose's High School and the general public.
  5. What have and haven't they accomplished so far?
For the last few months the Association has been able to achieve dramatic successes. We were able to successfully host our 20th Anniversary Celebrations. We have begun the process of strengthening the Association's organizational structure with alumni taking up leadership roles in the various Standing and Ad-Hoc Committees. Our finances have been restored to some state of respectability. We are able to honor our commitments to the students of SRHS for our Annual Scholarship Awards for 2014 CSEC and CAPE examinations, the funding of Custodial Grant for the 2014-2015 financial year, and our contribution to the 2015 St. Rose’s International Reunion Committee; for the grant total of
    G$1,666,000.

There are great challenges ahead. I call on all alumni to become involved in helping your Alma Mater and its current student body. For a number of years, the Association has experienced an unwillingness for alumni to take up positions of leadership within the Association and this has caused undue hardship. It is my hope that we will see new leadership in the immediate future. I am looking forward to each and everyone here today to play a role within the Association by joining one of the subcommittees and to assist with the upkeep of the website.

The time has long past for us to have ideas and not voice those ideas in an arena where those ideas will be beneficial to the entire Association. The only way we can affect changes is to become involved. We cannot any longer abstain from becoming involved in the operation of your association. We cannot just sit on the sideline and complain about how things are not being done properly and yet not want to actively engage in becoming change agents. We have to become actively involved. Thank you for allowing me to lead at this time in the life of our Association.
