FoMRF evaluates and supports grant proposals from organizations in southern Africa whose primary aim is to develop leadership capacity in southern Africa We support programs that focus on education, professional training, or leadership development, such as scholarships, fellowships, mentoring, and volunteer programs

South African Education and Environment Project

FoMRF supports the Bridging Year program of the South African Education and Environment Project. The program serves recent graduates of township high schools in Cape Town, South Africa. It provides an intensive skill enhancement and leadership training program as preparation for further education or training, productive employment, and community service.
