The dissemination of Puerto Rican Cultural history and heritage is achieved through seminars, lectures, music, poetry and other forms of artistic experssion. La Casa also houses a collection of books and othe literary items. . Since 1983, we have developed into an effective community resource which has enhanced the knowledge and awareness of Puerto Rican culture within the framework of multi-cultural society. Its Puerto Rican Heritage Library is a prestigious research center which makes its services available to students aat all levels and to the general public. La Casa seeks to expand its cultural and library related programs and other resources toward the goal of strengtheninig the awareness of Puerto Rican culture and its preservation. La Casa believs that a solid education in cultural self-identity is an important foundation within a multi-cultural society.
