Mission Statement

The objects of University College London are to provide education and courses of study in the fields of Arts, Laws, Pure Sciences, Medicine and Medical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Applied Sciences and in such other fields of learning as may from time to time be decided upon by the College and to encourage research in the said branches of knowledge and learning and to organise, encourage and stimulate postgradaute study in such branches. UCL Friends and Alumni Association advances this mission through: > directing resources to facilitate development of the regional alumni > groups in the USA; utilising funds received to encourage and develop > co-ordinating links between UCL and like institutions in the USA, through academic and student exchange and research collaborations; seeking and distrbuting funds to UCL to resource academic developmetns which enhance its attratction to US students and academics.

The UCL Futures programme

The UCL Futures programme was adopted by UCL Friends and Alumni in 2007. There are six funds: i) Scholarships ii) Teaching and research iii) The library iv) The musuems and colelctions v) The Friends Trust in support of student activities. vi) The Provost's Priority Fund (or "where the need is greatest").
