Mission Statement

In 2005, Arthur Navarro founded the Latin Economic Forum at the United Nations as a nonpartisan catalyst for action, bringing together community global leaders to envision and implement innovative solutions to some of Latin America's most pressing problems.

Distinguished Speakers Volunteer Program The LEF Distinguished Speaker Series is one of the most visible and direct services of our non-profit. Colleagues at major universities and other academic institutions have been featured on Capitol, Hill, The United Nations, media and Latin America. Because are speakers are on the cutting edge of telecommunications, education, energy + climate change, corporate social responsibility, technology, trade, foreign direct investment and healthcare research, our Speakers offer the latest developments in their fields. The beneficiaries is like the book tipping point: The ?tipping point' is that magic moment when ideas, trends and social behaviours cross a critical threshold and ?take' causing a tidal wave of far reaching effect benefiting our audience.

BIO

Arthur A. Navarro Arthur has devoted his life to discovering the inevitable and promoting the unthinkable. Arthur has been engaged in not for profit activities since graduating from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. For the past 8 years he has been donating his time and money as founder of a non-profit emerging organization. In the last two 2 years Arthur has been holding major conferences at the United Nations and a symposium on Capitol Hill dedicated to promoting deeper regional integration and increased investment in education in Latin America. Arthur is also the Founder of Latin Communications Management, Inc. a Latin management consulting company that advises companies on the U.S and Latin American emerging markets. Previously, Arthur worked for Hispanic marketing communications companies and has extensively researched and lectured on emerging markets and emerging technologies in Nicaragua, Columbia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Brazil and Mexico. His most recent speaking engagements include: - 2000 Harvard's Third Annual International Internet Conference - 2002 The United Nations Technology Summit - 2002 The United States Senate - 2002 The World Economic Forum Brazil Summit - 2003 The Americas Institute, Mexico City - 2004 Dominican Republic Conference, United Nations - 2005 1st Annual Latin Economic Forum, United Nations -2006 WFUNA Argentina Previously, Arthur served as a campaign advisor to former U.S Ambassador to the United Nations, U.S Senator Daniel he served in the U.S Department of Commerce, U.S Department of Energy, U.S Department of Homeland Security, U.S Army and White House. In 1986 he joined Paramount Pictures Studios Music Department team as a Production Executive. In that position, he worked closely with the Sr. V.P of Music hiring global composers to score the soundtrack of the motion picture. Arthur began his professional career with the Screen Actors Guild, Inc, working for it?s President Ed Asner. Arthur's volunteer work includes the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Weingart Homeless Center and the Fulfillment Fund Hispanic High School Mentor Program. Arthur holds a degree's from Harvard University and the University of Southern California. He currently is a visiting lecturer at West Point Military Academy and Columbia University
