Mission Statement

NCFF seeks to make science, along with its processes and applications, accessible to the public without the omissions and oversimplifications that too often characterize the work of organizations with similar missions. At the same time, NCFF hopes to inspire adults and children around the world to revive their capacity for imagination and wonder.

Programs

Self-reported by organization

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Program 1

Among programs currently planned are: 1) The development of an extensive curriculum focusing on science education and human exploration, appropriate for primary and secondary schools, as well as colleges and universities, around the world. Programs for adults only, as well as parents with their children, will be offered so as not to limit NCFF's education program to traditional classroom environments. 2) The building of a national network of dedicated volunteers responsible for organizing and communicating with individuals across the country who wish to lend their support to educational efforts and endeavors in human exploration. 3) The training and coordination of a large group of knowledgeable surrogate speakers to conduct public discussions, forums, panels and lectures. 4) The production and distribution of multimedia products relevant to NCFF's educational mission. 5) The supervision of competitions for secondary school and university students (separately) who attempt to creatively solve scientific, engineering and technical problems posed by human exploration.
