An Innovative Learning Community Working in partnership with its students and their families, Future Leaders Institute offers an innovative, academically rigorous learning community where students of all ability levels achieve academic success. The core elements of FLI's program include: An Extended School Day and Year: FLI's extended school day and year provide substantially more time for core academic subjects as well as enrichment activities. Rigorous Academic Instruction: Between 8:20 A.M. and 2:50 students engage in FLI?s core academic classes (literacy, math, social studies, and science). FLI?s thorough instruction is assessment-driven and student-centered. Enrichment Program: Between 2:50 students participate in FLI?s Enrichment Program, a high-quality visual and performing arts and physical fitness program.
