Mission Statement

The Russian Children's Welfare Society is dedicated to assisting disadvantaged Russian children improve their lives. The organization was formed in 1926 to assist Russian children and families who had emigrated to the West. With the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the Society shifted its focus and resources to improve the lives of at-risk children living in Russia today.

BIO

Mr. Vladimir he joined Chase Manhattan Bank, starting his long career on Wall Street. Mr. Fekula spent seven years at Goldman Sachs, and established the Credit Review Department at Salomon Bros. He retired from Credit Suisse First Boston after 15 years as the Director of the Credit Review and Risk Management Department.

Mr. Fekula has been active in RCWS for over 35 years. He has also served on the Boards of the Tolstoy Foundation and the Pearl Theatre Company.
