Mission Statement

The Mayflower Hill Broadcasting Corporation owns the license to operate a non-commercial, educational FM broadcast station known as WMHB and therefore does business under the assumed name of WMHB 89.7FM. The purpose of WMHB is to serve the Central Maine Community by offering new and diverse music programming not generally offered by local commercial radio stations. WMHB also provides sports broadcasts, community news, and public service information. WMHB provides a medium for new artists to be heard and gives individuals who otherwise would not be involved with radio broadcasting an opportunity to do so.

WMHB Radio Broadcast

WMHB provides a radio broadcast to Waterville, Oakland, Fairfield, Winslow, and surrounding communities in central Maine. The total estimated FM listener base is 35,880. WMHB also provides an online webcast that attracts listeners from across the United States and from more than 30 countries worldwide. WMHB broadcasts live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the help of numerous student and community volunteer DJs. In the summer, community DJs assist in filling student slots, making WMHB one of few college stations to offer a live broadcast 365 days a year.
