Mrs. Aishah Bilal, Ed.S. has twenty (20) years of progressive experience in professional environments and over eight (8) years of progressive experience in the field of education. Her career highlights include founder and Executive Director of WELLNESS, Inc., Assistant Director and Principal of a public charter early childhood center and elementary school, Computer Scientist and Software Engineer in the information technology industry, Office Manager in the private sector and Sergeant in the United States Army. Mrs. Bilal earned an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from The George Washington University, a Masters of Education with emphasis on Acquired Brain Injury from The George Washington University, a Bachelors of Science Degree in Technology & Management from the University of Maryland and Teacher Certification in Non-Categorical Special Education (K-12) from the District of Columbia. Mrs. Bilal is associated with the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Maryland Brain Injury Association and the Maryland Business Roundtable. Her hobbies include writing, volleyball and sewing. She has published three books: The Art of Head Wrapping, Party Games (Vol. 1), and The Ugly Tree. She is also the sole proprietor of Bilaldesigns.com, an online e-commerce website specializing in African head wrapping.
