Funding Needs

The political and economic upheaval in Wisconsin has placed a huge and growing demand on Grassroots Leadership College services.  In 2012 we will need to hire at least one more staff person to continue growing our programs to meet demand.   We will move from a budget of about $60,000 to about $120,000.   This will be tough, but we have an incredible volunteer crew of more than 60,  hundreds of graduates of our programs, and thousands more who have learned from us through work with their organizations, events at which we've presented, or through the capitol occupation trainings.  We can do it!

STATEMENT FROM THE Principal Officer

"Thank you everyone who supports the Grassroots Leadership College!  Our unique model of organizing through leadership development and organizing trainings gives you a huge bang for your buck.   As a small organization with just one full time staff person we are able to support more than a dozen community organizing efforts each year through our semester program and many more through shorter term programs.

Our model allows us to bring together people across communities, cultures, and many other barriers to create community.  We can only do that with your help.   We thank you!"
