STATEMENT FROM THE Principal Officer

"SOTC has a positive economic impact on Northeast Ohio by providing paid internships to undergraduate students, offering free housing on the campus of CSU, highlighting Cleveland via 30+ events throughout the summer and pairing each student with an alumni mentor.  This program features the civic, social and professional opportunities available in Northeast Ohio with the constant message the Cleveland is a viable option to consider upon graduation.  By reaching out to this uptapped talent pool, we are able to showcase Cleveland and spread the good word about this region to our participating campuses and to over 390 hometowns in 42 states and 19 countries.  Since 2003, over 550 students have participated in SOTC.

Northeast Ohio employers:  paid internships are the cornerstone of this initiative.  Please contact the Executive Director if interested in posting an internship with Summer on the Cuyahoga."
