Dr. John Thiel

BIO

Dr. Thiel is a 1965 graduate of West High School. He served four years in the military during the Viet Name era earning a Bronze Star, an Air Medal, an Army Commendation Medal, and three Purple Hearts. He then attended Indiana University where he earned three degrees: a B.S. in Management (Magna Cum Laude); an M.B.A. in Economics and Quantitative Methods; and a Ph.D. in Buesiness Strategic Analysis. Dr. Thiel taught at Indiana University and the University of Tennessee before entering the private sector as an executive and consultant.
