Mission Statement

The Pate Foundation was founded to bridge the equality gap in America.  We operate under the maxim that all of us deserve the same opportunity.  We partner with developers to build low income housing communities.  In these communities we offer opportunity and a chance at the American Dream.  In addition to housing, we provide all of the necessary tools to get ahead.  A roof is only a start.  We provide job training, job placement, meals, computer training, free internet access, child care, scholarships to 4 year universities and much more.  Our mission is simple, give to others the same that was given to us.

Overview

Self-reported by organization

The Pate Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity.  We were founded in 2005 in an effort to bridge the equality gap in America.  The government has programs in place for those less fortunate but it is not nearly enough and not nearly as effective as it should be given the amount of money flowing into these programs.  The Pate Foundation seeks to bridge that gap.  Our developer partners work closely with states and municipalities to identify housing and social needs and we work with our developers to implement the programs that promote upward social mobility and get money directly to those who need it.
