Charting Impact

Self-reported by organization

Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

  1. What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Curriki's driving mission is to make education more equitable through our global Open Educational Resource (OER) community of educators, parents, and students, which will enable teachers to make learning more personalized and help students reach their full potential.

  2. What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
TO ensure that all educators, students and parents around the world have access to the best Open Educational Resources available for teaching and learning, Curriki must:
    a. communicate the availability of the Curriki site to as many educators, parents, and students as possible.
    b. continue growing the library of high quality materials.
    c. rate and review contributed materials so that the best of the best are easy to find.
    d. curate and align resources along a scope and sequence for each grade level for STEM and ELA.
  3. What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Although Curriki is a very small team of dedicated people, we have the passion for our mission. With the support of donors, corporate sponsors, and educators in our community who contribute and rate resources, we will be successful.
  4. How will they know if they are making progress?
Curriki measures progress and growth by the statistics we monitor via our website tracking tools. We monitor demographics, member statistics, resource statistics, group activity, new member data, etc.
  5. What have and haven't they accomplished so far?
Curriki is one of the most widely known OER libraries and communities in the world. The Curriki website was the first site of its kind and we continue to lead the way in setting the standard for and leading the movement for Open Educational Resource development and dissemination. Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go to reach our ultimate goal of making OER the standard source for curriculum and student instructional materials in schools around the world.
