Executive Director

Mr. Lewis Scott Brogan

BIO

Mr. Scott Brogan, Founding and Executive Director has spent much of his professional life working in the political area in the Houston Metropolitan area working with elected officials, their advisors, families and supporters. Additionally, he has focused on philanthropic activities of Houstonians by serving in a volunteer board capacity for non-profit organizations including Virtuosi of Houston, Express Children's Theatre (immediate past chairman of the board) the Houston City Hall Preservation Committee and privately funded foundations. Throughout the years Mr. Brogan has had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the most fascinating people in the world and many of Houston's diverse social, corporate, political and philanthropic personalities. This has provided him with a unique perspective on Houston and the fine people who make this one of the best cities in America. Mr. Brogan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from West Virginia, and studied for his Master's Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the American University in London.

STATEMENT FROM THE Executive Director

"In a short course, we have filled a significant void in the Houston education and arts community. Our program is offered to everyone without agenda, political affiliation, religious influence or socio-economic position.

To our knowledge there remains no other independent Houston non-profit organization dedicated to bringing this caliber of inspiring role models to such a diverse audience. Indeed in just these first few years, we have been the speaking of our kind ever for several of our inspired speakers.

The organization's active and diverse board, advisory board, volunteers and interns work collaboratively to create the dynamic and powerful programming we have provided to the Houston community.

We have successfully presented every speaker from Her Majesty Queen Noor,Julie Andrews, George Clooney, Betty White, President Michael Gorbachev and Professor Stephen Hawking, to name just a few. Our understated, elegant and powerful presentation of the speakers and performers creates life-changing experiences for the audience whether young or young at heart. With our production team, our internal staff, dozens of volunteers and dedicated board, we exceed the expectations of our Houston audience and create memories to last a lifetime.

We have successfully marketed and promoted our programming to local, state, national and international audiences. Our audience has attracted people from across the country and around the world.  We take great pride in our diverse audience that travels from near and far to Houston to attend our unique programming."
