Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
AHA! A Hands-On Adventure seeks to provide a safe, creative, innovative space where young children can do the work of childhood-PLAY! Our new facility will have 11 acres with nature trails, wetlands, access to the city bike path and expanded science and art areas inside.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
The children's museum provides exhibits that are carefully designed to engage young children and their families and caregivers. Staff are well-trained and have experience and education in Early Childhood Education, the arts, science, nature programming and theatre arts.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our staff, our facilities, and our programming are influenced by the latest thinking on the education of young children through play.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
AHA! has accomplished tremendous growth and an expanding presence in the local community while retaining a highly educated and motivated staff for such a small nonprofit. Finishing our building project and moving into the new facility, as well as implementing new programming are our future goals.
