Grant Program

WMEF Grant ProgramThe West Milford Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that promotes excellence in public education by providing Grants to fund creative, innovative and sustainable initiatives that benefit our students.WMEF's Grant Program endeavours to provide financial resources beyond the school district's regular budget to sustain, improve, and stimulate new educational opportunities for students, teachers and other staff members in order to prepare today's youth for the future. The Foundation does not attempt to replace tax support for the schools, rather it aggressively works to supplement, enrich and add to the accomplishments that already distinguish our schools. What We FundWMEF funds initiatives that enhance classroom learning through innovative approaches to teaching. We support all areas of the curriculum - math, science, social studies, English, reading, language, health, art, music and more. In this regard, we seek to support promising educational initiatives and their replication throughout the school district.
