Program 1

Social Skill Groups

Social Skills Groups are provided to improve children's abilities to interact with one another in a structured and safe environment. These services are offered once a month, throughout the school year. Sessions are held after-school for all experience levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced) to children diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome or High Functioning Autism, who attend their local public school.
This program also offers professional development training to local school district personnel, who service children enrolled in the Advanced Level Group. The training provides strategies for teachers, aides, CST case managers and other related service personnel.
