PMHB is the Historical Society of Pennsylvania's (HSP) quarterly scholarly magazinee, published since 1877. PMHB publishes original research or interpretation concerning the social, cultural, political, economic, and ethnic history of Pennsylvania, or work situating Pennsylvania history within comparative regional or international contexts.

The Founder's Award

The Founder's Award is an annual awards event dedicated to the recognition of leaders in the cause of exemplary service to history, both through enriching and maintaining the historical record and enhancing its value to the public. The award was established as a part of the 175th anniversary celebration of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and is, today, a major source of fundraising for the society.
