Mission Statement

Serge is a missions sending agency. Today, we have over 200 missionaries in 17 countries. We believe the motive and power for mission is the gospel of grace at work in the life of a believer. Our vision is to see movements of churches empowered by grace for the world's good and God's glory. We pursue this vision through holistic, incarnational ministry. Serge exists to see individuals, families, communities, and cultures so changed and renewed by the gospel of grace that they passionately pursue their role in the great story of redemption.

Equipping

Another goal our missionary teams pursue is training and equipping local leadership for the work of missions. To this end, we've developed equipping ministries such as:
Christ School Bundibugyo: A Christ-centered secondary school established by the WHM team in Bundibugyo, Uganda.
Mentoring church-planters (Kenya): We have a small team of missionaries in Kenya who train and mentor national church-planters who are leading churches in rural areas.
Missionary Apprentice Program (MAP-London): Our MAP team trains young people who are interested in exploring a calling to cross-cultural missions.
For more information about these and other equipping ministries of WHM, visit us at whm.org(http://www.whm.org) .

STATEMENT FROM THE Executive Director

"Why Serge?

Our life and ministry must be saturated and motivated by our own need for--and experience of--the gospel of grace. We're deeply committed to preaching the gospel to ourselves, even as we share it with others.

We also cultivate new leadership through personal mentoring, and are committed to a holistic model of caring for missionaries, from start to finish. We aim to live humble and transparent lives--both personally and as an organization."
