·         Transitions of Care (BOOST)

·         Preventing DVTs

Our mentored Implementation has now been used at hundreds of hospitals nationwide. We will be discussing how SHM can continue to support hospitals as QI and patient safety change agents at more hospitals in the future.

In addition to providing leadership in certain processes and disease states, SHM has brought together national thought leaders to provide a road map for

·         Co-management

·         Medication Reconciliation

·         Pharmaco-economics.

AdvocacySHM has expanded our advocacy agenda and added staff and support to continue to speak for hospitalists and our patients.

Education and Meetings

·         SHM reached another milestone with HM 2010 with continued phenomenal growth in attendees and expansion of content and networking.
