Charting Impact

Self-reported by organization

Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

  1. What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Increase by 5% annually our membership participation. Maintain and grow our programming to accommodate the new flexibility provided to us by our installation of digital cinema in 2012.

2014 - expand the theater to a 4th screen in the concept stage.
  2. What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Stay on top of the latest technologies to accommodate our programming needs.
Increase the capacity of our staff "on the ground" to be more customer oriented and pro-active in their interactions.
  3. What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our management staff has combined experience in the company of over 20 years each and newer staff has from 5 to 10 years longevity in the company. Our flexibility and willingness to re-create our product and delivery systems over time have all proved successful.
  4. How will they know if they are making progress?
Lowering membership attrition to levels that are above the industry average.
Access to the most up to date technology and product.
    Balanced budgets
    Capacity building
  5. What have and haven't they accomplished so far?
The installation of digital cinema 6 months ahead of our initial schedule and with capital raised in excess of our initial goal by over 100%, allowed us to install equipment that is upgrade-able for the next level of digital projection when it goes into full distribution.

Our membership remains healthy and we have grown fro 3-5% annually for the last 10 years of operation, with some years in excess of 10-15% growth.

Staff continues to be a key asset to our success.

Funding Needs

With the completion of the interior auditorium spaces in 2007, the year 2010 has been the year to complete needed exterior facade and roofing work to secure the facilitiy.   2011 will see the need to equipt at least one auditorium with the new DCI Digital Projection equipment that will be required to screen films from the major distributors that will only be available through High Definition Digital in the near future.   The cost of the upgrades will be $75,000 per screen.  Funding needs for the next year will need to address this change in our industry.
