Sights and Sounds
Sights and Sounds provides free screening of preschool children to detect vision and hearing problems.
Booster Bags
Booster Bags is designed to boost the spirits of women and children in crisis with backpacks/bags containing food, toiletries and clothing. Additionally provided are gift certificates to our Assistance League Thrift Shop as well as bus tickets.
Operation School Bell
Operation School Bell is the national philanthropy of Assistance League. We provide new common dress clothing to elementary school children in need who are referred by the Santa Rosa and Roseland School Districts. We also provide additional items requested by the schools such as hygiene kits, underwear, deodorant and backpacks. Tickets are purchased for high school seniors in need to attend Project Graduation.
Bright Beginnings
Bright Beginnings consists of two programs: Wee Wardrobe and Scholarship.
Wee Wardrobe provides the Sonoma County Department of Public Health Teen Parent Connections Program with new and used children's clothing, layettes, toys and sleepers.
The Scholarship program assists teen mothers in returning to school by providing them with $500 scholarships to Santa Rosa Junior College and/or Sonoma State University.
Safe Haven
Safe Haven provides support to residents/clients of the Women's Recovery Center in Santa Rosa.
