Mission Statement

The EAR Foundation was founded in 1971 by Dr. Michael E. Program 1

The EAR Foundation's programs consist of: CME - Continuing Medical Education, which trains physicians from all over the world in the latest surgical techniques in Otology and Neurotolgy. We have helped more thatn 50 deaf students achieve their dreams through mainstream scholarships from the ONLY 4 year scholarship program of it's kind...The Minnie Peal Scholarship Program. Our "Listen or Lose It"TM campaign educates the general public on hearing preservation and Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). Our most recent program addition is Senior Ears. A comprehensive educational and resouce program for seniors 55+. The program is a start to finish educational tool for hearing loss in Seniors, and the Hearing Aid Bank provides those who qualify with low-cost or no-interest loans for hearing aid devices, since medicare nor conventional insurance provides coverage for such devices. The Meniere's Network program focuses on the devistating inner ear disease that has no known cure. A quarterly educational publication as well as a networking system for coping skills is available and is one of the only prgrams devoted to this mysterious disease.
