Mission Statement

Our mission is to preserve and protect Manhattan's West End Avenue. We strive to ensure that the architecture and ambience of West End Avenue will
endure for generations to come.
To accomplish this, we proposed to the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission, in 2009, that they extend existing historic districts of WEA to include the length of the Avenue from 70th to 107th Street.
We achieved our goals in 2012, 2013 and 2015 when the LPC designated three historic district extensions including West End Avenue, parts of the west side of Broadway, Riverside Drive and cross streets in between.
We continue our work to protect and preserve the character of our neighborhoods and the quality of life for our residents.
