What we aim to solve
RE-RIDE Quarter Horse Adoption Program focuses on the need for displaced registered Quarter Horses, by serving as a safety net and a resource for owners who need a safe place for horses that are no longer serviceable for their needs. Our program is available and works to find solutions for the American Quarter and Paint horse by providing a safe haven for these horse before they become displaced or at risk of becoming unwanted. We are the only Quarter Horse rescue in the nation and serve as the only show horse rescue in the nation.

RE-RIDE Quarter Horse Adoption Program offers unwanted Registered Quarter and Paint Horses that have become displaced for a variety of reasons the chance for bright new futures through rehabilitation, retraining and adoption to qualified loving homes. Our program serves to educate others on the processes behind rehabilitation and the steps necessary to provide the horse with the best care to assure that they can go on to a useful second career. We educate owners on the values of offering second chances for their horses and provide trainers and industry leaders with the resources necessary to assure that the horses always have a safe place to go.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to provide unwanted Registered Quarter and Paint Horses a safe haven where they can be rehabilitated, retrained and adopted to qualified loving homes, providing them with a purpose and therefore a future. Our program strives to maintain the highest standards of care for all horses that enter our program and diligently seeks the best possible homes for our horses. We continue to provide education for our adopter's and evolve new programs such as our Riding Thru It Program for cancer patients, where these horses can touch the lives of others and promote healing in an non clinical environment. We are working on publishing an educational document on forming non profit Quarter Horse rescues with the end goal to service the unwanted Quarter Horse population on a national level. Our youth activities strive to provide opportunity for the enhancement of equine care and management and the learning of life skills for the youth involved with the care and rehab of horses in need as we continue to grow and expand our horizons.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our strategies are to promote the use of the unwanted Quarter Horses through adoption, especially to those wishing to use the horses for the intended purposes of showing. Promoting the breed and especially rescued Quarter Horses in need creates a market for these horses , giving them usefulness and a purpose that helps to secure a forever home. By promoting the rescue and reuse of registered horses, our program helps to introduce novice into the industry, and by educating them and the community these great horses get the quality of life that they deserve. Through fundraisers and community events our program educates those interested in adopting and volunteering and inspires those seeking adoption to look for a horse that is safe and capable of performing the goals of the adopter.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our staff of qualified individuals who serve in the horse industry in a professional capacity provide the utmost care for the horses in our program. Our board of directors serve the horse industry as professionals and their influence is seen though out our organization and in all that we do. We stand behind the welfare and care of our adopted horses, strive to maintain a level of professionalism with adopters and donors alike. We are aware of our limitations and strive to improve on them each day with the ultimate goal of providing and securing an awesome and loving future for the horses in our program.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
RE-RIDE is making progress ! From competing at college and state level to being represented at the largest single breed horse show on earth, our program is making a difference! Donors of horses are seeking our program to find the quality and deserving homes that they would like for there animals. Our volunteer's program continues to grow. We are receiving national publicity for making a difference in the lives of unwanted, deserving horses and providing the the quality and loving homes that they deserve.
