Come Reason Ministries
Convincing Christianity
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Come Reason Ministries seeks to spread convincing Christianity across the globe by strring the hearts and minds of the lost and the church.
We do this through three primary initiatives:
* Educating the Church
People don't know the reasons why they believe what they believe, making them afraid to share their faith. Our Strengthening the Church strategy will create bold ambassadors of Christianity who can effectively battle the empty deceit of this present age.
* Engaging the Culture
Our culture has become more media‐savvy. Kids grow up on high‐quality computer graphics and well‐produced YouTube videos. That's why presenting the case for Christ today must be interesting and visually compelling.
* Equipping and Emboldening Students.
Come Reason has also developed an extensive strategy for reaching Christian youth both before and during their college years. We reach kids where they are and build their faith before they abandon it.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Web-based teaching
Come Reason Ministries' primary avenue of outreach continues to be a strong Internet presence. At our site you will find a fully functional search engine making it easy to access hundreds of articles on apologetics, logic, theology, science, ethics and morality and culture. Or listen in on discussions of today's most thought-provoking issues via streaming audio.
Guest Speaking
Come Reason Ministries provides teaching and training to churches, home schooling groups, and other organizations, providing a keen understanding of how to navigate and engage our increasingly post-Christian society. We accomplish this ion our talks by analyzing and highlighting the moral confusion our culture has come to embrace, offering some strategic questions Christians can use to counter those errant assumptions, and providing practical ways to live within a culture that resists biblical values. Further, these talks help train Christians to communicate to non-believers the beauty of the Gospel message.
Conferences and Lectures
Come Reason Ministries hosts numerous lectures and debates on issues such as the existence of God and the truth of Christianity. An apologetics series and one-day workshop are available
Apologetics Missions Trips
Our Apologetics Missions Trips are an exciting new way we train students. We visit areas antagonistic to Christianity—such as Salt Lake City or U.C. Berkeley—and teach students to confidently and lovingly share their faith. Students on these trips hear some of the strongest objections to Christianity, yet they come away from the experience more confident and grounded, knowing their faith is both reasonable and true.
Debates
Come Reason has co-sponsored or helped organize debates at major universities on the existence of God and the reasonableness of creation versus evolution.
Training and cirriculum
Come Reason develops apologetics and theological curriculum to help Christians better know and defend their faith. We are currently working on an exciting new video curriculum project that joins theology, Christian history, and apologetics to teach believers about the key tenets of Christianity and how applicable they are to the controversies of today. Other video curriculum projects are planned and the goal is to offer these studies for individuals, church small groups, and home school curriculum.

Goals & Strategy

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
When Saul's armies faced Goliath and the Philistines, they naturally cowered in fear. Christians today feel much the same way. Just as Goliath challenged and mocked Israel's God, the giants of secularism, compromise, and immorality deride the moral and spiritual foundations that have served followers of Christ for centuries. Believers are attacked for their convictions, they're ridiculed in the classroom, and they're unsure how to defend their faith in an increasingly hostile world. David's moral courage in the face of overwhelming giants is a model for us today.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Our three initiatives will help us gain valuable ground in each of our core focuses.
Strengthening the Church includes:
* Church‐based Apologetics Content
* Speaking/Travel
* Book/Curriculum Creation
* Developing Curriculum
Reaching the World includes:
* Apologetics Evangelism Outreach
* Audio/Video Development
* Web/Mobile Development
* Secular & Christian Media
Laying a Foundation for the Future ‐includes:
* Youth‐Targeted Training
* On‐campus Debates and Events
* Apologetics Missions Trips
* Student Sponsorships

- We review compensation data across the organization (and by staff levels) to identify disparities by race.
- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
