Program 1

AIDA fosters decorative artists from Israel by: -Encouraging high-quality art fairs to include the work of artists from Israel. Since 2003 over 30 artists have participated in with AIDA in two premier expos: SOFA Chicago (the international exposition of sculpture, objects and functional art) and COLLECT (the international art fair for contemporary art) in London. -Support international museum exhibitions presenting the work of artists from Israel. In 2006 AIDA gave a matching grant to the Racine Art Museum in support of "Women's Tales: Four Leading Israeli Jewelers". -Promote the exchange of artistic ideas amongst artists from Israel, North America, and Europe. -Identify international fellowships, internships and scholarships to provide continuing education to artists from Israel. Since the inception of this program AIDA has provided 20 artists with fellowships to esteemed US residency programs. -Connect artists from Israel to galleries in North America and Europe.
