Mission Statement

The ACC Foundation was established in 1999 in response to the gap between available funding and financial need. It provides a mechanism for individuals, alumni, corporations, and foundations to contribute to programs that benefit the college and enhance the general community of north central CT. The Foundation also expands the public's awareness and understanding of the College, increases public participation in college programs, and provides advice to the college regarding communal needs for education and training.

The Asnuntuck Community College Foundation increased its annual appeal from $12,000 to $20,000.  Proceeds from the Murder Myster Dinner and Golf Tournament also increased.  In response, the Foundation raised the mini-grants available to faculty for program enhancements to $1,000 and increased the number of mini-grants available.  The number and size of scholarships granted to students is also on the rise.
