Mission Statement

The StreetSchool Network, founded in 1996, grew out of the need for "educational intensive care units" around the country to reach out to students who had dropped-out or been expelled from public school or were likely to do so. Based on the 20 year history of the Denver Street School, urban leaders from around the country wanted help to replicate this successful program in their own cities. The vision is to serve as an organization that is a clearinghouse of information and support for administrators and schools that want to offer quality, faith-based education for at-risk youth.
