Mission Statement

TO RESCUE, RESTORE AND ADAPT THE HISTORICAL UNIVERSAL PRESERVATION HALL, TRANSFORM IT INTO A PERFORMING ARTS VENUE FOR SARATOGA SPRINGS AND THE GREATER CAPITAL DISTRICT AND TO RESTORE THE UNIVERSAL BAPTISTS CONGREGATION'S SEPARATE WORSHIP SPACE.

Dorothy Beth Foster

BIO

Dorothy (Teddy) Foster has been a resident of the Saratoga Springs area for 28 years. She has been a member of the Universal Preservation Hall Board of Directors since 2006 and in 2009, became the Board President. Teddy has developed a strong relationship with the Universal Baptist Church and, under her expert leadership, the Hall has become a well-known and sought-after performance and rental venue for concerts, fundraisers and weddings.

Teddy worked for Genworth Financial for 12 years as the Director of Training and Marketing. She is currently a Personal Health Coach and owner of Foster Good Health. Teddy also writes a wellness column for local Saratoga publication Saratoga Seasons, and is well known for her educational seminars on various health topics such as obesity, healthy eating, and improving overall good health.

Teddy is a graduate of Skidmore College with a BS in Business and she participates in the Skidmore Mentoring Program for Business students.
