Mission Statement

We are mothers who now have, or have had, children serving in the military. We are a non-profit (501[c]3) service organization supporting each other and our children while promoting patriotism. The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is authorized by the U.S. Code: Title 36; Section 943, as of January 26, 1998. The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is a non-partisan, non-political organization. We do not support any political candidate, nor do we endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America as does our organization.

BSMA National Big Dipper Program;Educational Assistance for our Blue Star family members persuing higer education. Regular collect donation and monies to send troop care packages to our active duty military on a regular basis

Continued to recruit and install new members and chapters.  Attends all National and Department conventions and attends National ceremonies across the country including Gold star Family Weekend, Veterans Day and Memorial Day in DC.  Established strong VAVs link to VA for volunteer coordination and funding.  Expanded outreach throughout the nation into many communities offering military and veteran support and participation in legislation.
