Program 1

1. College advisors are trained in the college admission and financial aids processes and supplement the existing efforts by the guidance counselors in the high schools. College advisors work one-one-one with students, and whenever possible parents, to help each student find the best college match. In addition, the college advisor may schedule college tours, act as a liaison between the school and colleges/universities, assist students with ACT preparation, present information to large groups in the classroom setting, and all other activities related to the college admission and scholarship/financial aid application process. 2. Camp College is a comprehensive program following 60 students from the summer after junior year of high school to the spring of freshmen year of college - the program includes a 2 ½ day summer retreat on the college application process, SAT/ ACT prep courses, college tours, specialized student and parent forums, and one-on-one mentoring from the Camp College Director. 3. Passport Scholars is a competitive scholarship program for girls - the program affords each girl the opportunity to take part in a summer experience in a specialized academic enrichment program, a mentorship, and one-on-one college counseling.
