Mission Statement

The Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund (ef.kappasigma.org) was established in 1919 "to support the charitable and beneficent purposes of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity." The Mission of the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund is to support the Educational, Scholastic, and Leadership activities of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. It is the oldest college fraternity foundation.

The Fund's main funding priority has been the Scholarship-Leadership Awards Program, which makes cash awards to outstanding undergraduate student-leaders. More than $5 million has been awarded to thousands of brothers since 1948.

In addition, the Endowment Fund makes grants to the Kappa Sigma Fraternity to fund their educational programs, and the annual Leadership Conferences.
The Fund was historically based in Denver and Chicago. In 1985, it was moved to the Kappa Sigma headquarters in Charlottesville, Va.
