How does this organization make a difference?

Overview

Self-reported by organization

We published the first Urantia Book to feature a comprehensive topical index, a two column layout for easier reading, an internal referencing system that numbers paper, section and paragraph and an appendix listing the accepted word and punctuation modifications since the initial 1955 edition.

For 50 years we have freely provided the Urantia community with outstanding printed publications such as The Mighty Messenger and The Herald to showcase the best thoughts and insights of Urantia Book scholars.

Since 1967, we have hosted a Triennial International Conference for readers of the Urantia Book that typically host 700 participants.

We faithfully support grassroots outreach and dissemination projects that have been initiated by inspired and dedicated believers.

Our Interfaith Program has presented the book to countless ministers, placed it in hundreds of religious libraries worldwide and most notably presented it at each of the last five Parliaments of the World's Religions.

Our Outreach Program has placed thousands of books domestically and has participated in hundreds of public lectures and expositions in the last decade alone.

Our International Program nurtures and sponsors emerging Urantia students and communities around the world by fostering outreach, study and socialization and by donating desperately needed books.

Our website, www.Urantiabook.org, is a virtual resource library for the study of The Urantia Book. It’s also an excellent source of outreach ministry as well as in-depth study, Urantia movement history and 57 years of scholarship. We value group wisdom and strive to evolve.

STATEMENT FROM THE Principal Officer

"The Urantia Book Fellowship is on the move. With 57 continuous years of service to our credit, and hearts courageous, we are poised and ready to meet the challenges of the next 50 years and beyond. We believe that the world is hungry for the profound truths we find and enjoy every day in the Urantia Book. Our Fellowship is not only willing to answer the call of worldwide dissemination, we are uniquely capable and devoted to the task.

I’m profoundly honored to serve as the Fellowship’s Director. I feel blessed to be associated with the splendid volunteers I have come to know and love in this organization. Their dedication inspires me and has made an indelible impression on me.

The Fellowship has persevered through some serious challenges, and yet, after all these years, it’s still here serving with stalwart dedication. The Fellowship not only devotedly serves God and Man, but it also sacredly serves the Brotherhood of Believers."
