Mission Statement

Recognizing the importance of support for public education, it shall be the mission of the Quincy Foundation for Quality Education to acquire and distribute financial and other resources to Quincy School District 172 for enrichment of academic programs and for other projects aimed at enhancing the quality of education and providing students with expanded learning opportunities.

Science for Life

The goal of Science for Life is to create scientifically literate adults by providing enhanced, hands-on educational opportunities for science learning. This has been accomplished through consulting, collaboration, teacher training, purchasing new student materials, and establishing a guaranteed science curriculum across the district.

Teacher Grants

Quincy Foundation for Quality Education provides grants directly to certified staff members for programs or projects that benefit student learning/performance. Grants are for one-year projects. It is not the intention of QFQE or Quincy Public School District #172 to continue funding the project or its replication beyond one year. QFQE is not meant to replace traditional sources of funding for the public schools.
