Overview

Self-reported by organization

At Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan, our mission is to empower young people to own their economic success. Volunteers and donors are critical to our mission and we invite you to join us! We know that our economics education programs, taught by business and community volunteers to students in elementary through high school, makes our collective financial future stronger.

Junior Achievement teaches young people three crucial lessons, how to be
financially literate, ready to work, and think entrepreneurially. In a
unique and effective way – using volunteers from the community who
dedicate their time to teaching, these concepts become concrete
experiences for the students. JA changes kids’ lives through enhanced
educational experiences and mentorship. We will have the opportunity to serve more than 40,000 students during the 2014-15 school year. And we can't wait.
