Today we are a campus of learning and restoration in Flint’s historic Carriage Town neighborhood. Visitors and residents find a haven of safety and acceptance, learning and responsibility, structure and productivity…A place where Jesus is lifted up as Lord and Savior…A place to find new birth, a sense of purpose for today and hope for tomorrow.

 

We currently offer: men, women & children's emergency shelter, personal success programs, success housing, Bible Study/discipleship, breakfast/lunch & dinner 365 days a year, Mentoring, transitional services, professional counseling, food giveaways, food assistance, Innovative Learning Center, Parenting Classes, Shaken Baby Sydrome Classes, Job Readiness, Baby Layettes, Free Clothing Distribution, Addiction Recovery, Employment Partnerships, Literacy Training, Tutoring, Community Garden, Running Club, Wellness Classes, Culinary Classes, Quilting Classes, etc.

Program 1

CTM's operating programs address the following areas: (1) An on-site resident drug and alcohol rehabilitation program for homeless men. (2) An Innovative Learning Center to help train the disadvantaged and homeless in computer literacy, high school GED requirements, and job search skills. (3) A youth program that provides daily activities, tutoring, and summer camp experiences for needy youth in the area. (4) A Family Center for abused and battered women and children. (5) Services which provide clothing, food, daily meals, and lodging for homeless men, women, children, and needy area families.

It takes a great deal of resources to shelter, educate, cloth, mentor, and expose our residents and community members to new opportunities.  We are fundraising year-round to be able to meet the vast needs of the Flint community.  You can donate through our website www.carriagetown.org or read about all of our other needs there as well.
