Mission Statement

The
mission of the SME Education Foundation is to provide
all young people with equal educational opportunity to inspire our youth to excel in Science,
Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
– skills that are essential for one to compete in the present and future
manufacturing workforce. 

We will support them by providing relevant and
rigorous educational opportunities along with financial support to assist them
in reaching their goals. 

And, we
will prepare them to be the next
generation manufacturing workforce with curricula and activities that excite
and engage them in cutting edge ways.
