Mission Statement

As the student and family population of urban public schools becomes more ethnically and economically diverse, teachers and the future employers of students are challenged. The Oak Park Business and Education Alliance provides a way for the community to collaborate with Oak Park teachers and administrators to help students acquire the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in education beyond high school and careers in tomorrow's workplace.

The Oak Park Business and Education Alliance's programs include a variety of reward and recognition programs and Career Focused Education Programs for students in the Oak Park School District.Volunteer opportunities include, a business/school liaison program to bring business professionals into classrooms,a career mentoring program and scholarships for graduating seniors who have met the established criteria.The OPBEA hosts an annual community recognition event to honor those in our community who have made a significant contribution to this immediate area. The funds raised from this event go directly to the funding of reward and recognition programs that the OPBEA sponsors.
