Mission Statement

Brown Deer Scholarships Inc. grants college scholarships to graduating seniors of Brown Deer High School in Wisconsin.  Recipients qualify by demonstrating, via a competitive application process, that they possess the necessary academic performance, co-curricular activities, community involvement, and work history to succeed at the college level.  Brown Deer Scholarships solicits donations from a variety of sources including the community residents and organizations, businesses, alumni, and through various fundraising activities.

This is the 35th year that Brown Deer Scholarships will be awarding scholarships to graduating seniors.  Since 1977, the organization has provided scholarships totaling over $815,000.  In 2010, we granted twenty-one $1,200 scholarships to the Class of 2010.  The number of scholarships and scholarship award amount depends upon the funds collected in a particular year.
