Identity Statement
The Ephraim Historical Foundation identifies itself as an educational institution and facility, a museum, an archive, a research organization, a leading Door County non-profit, a social organization, and a guardian of the unique character of the Village of Ephraim.

Vision Statement
To faithfully preserve, sustain, and share, the history, culture, and beauty of Ephraim.

Mission Statement
Founded in 1949 as a not-for-profit organization, the mission of the Ephraim Historical Foundation is to:
• Preserve and to foster preservation of historical monuments, buildings, structures, sites, and collections.
• Act as a resource in support of cultural organizations and civic services within the Village of Ephraim and the community at large.
• Act as a vehicle and custodian of financial contributions for the preservation of historic properties and collections.
• Enrich the concept of Ephraim as a village of values for the enjoyment and understanding of our cultural traditions and natural beauty.
• Share the heritage and stories of the people of Ephraim through research, outreach, and education.

Lectures and discussions on a variety of historical topics regarding Ephraim and Door County.  Free and open to the public.  Range from the history of hotels in Ephraim, to WW II camps throughout Wisconsin and Door County, the Civil War and more.

Historic Walking Tours and Tram Tours of Ephraim

Both tours depart from Anderson Barn History Center; tram tours start at 11 a.m. and walking tours depart at 10:30 a.m.  Tram Tours accommodate up to 7 people and allow a relaxing way to enjoy learning Ephraim's history.  Historic walking tours last approximately 2 hours and encompass 1.5 miles of walking and touring museum buildings and viewing other historic sites, including a beautiful view of the Niagara Escarpment.  Tickets are sold at the Anderson Barn History Center.
