General Funding Grants

Each year the Foundation provides $50k or more in funding to parents and staff for various programs at South High not otherwise covered by the district budget.  In addition, there are several programs that are automatically covered, based on restricted donations from constituents.

Scholarships

The Foundation manages several and sponsors one scholarship for South High students.  Families, parents, and alumni provide the funds each year to award deserving recipients with financial assistance in the form of scholarships for their continuing education.  The Foundation scholarship (Scholarship for success) is funded from Foundation general operating fund set aside each year for this purpose.
