All services are totally free and confidential to women, men and parents in a crisis pregnancy situation. Services include: pregnancy tests, education on pregnancy options; pregnancy support, adoption, parenting, budget, education planning; moms'support group; post abortion grief counsel; maternity and baby items; abstinence (pregnancy prevention) education for middle and high schools. Amnion CPC serves over 1,000 women and men each year in the Twin Cities region of Minnesota.

Ms. Janis Lamont

BIO

Janis Lamont has been involved with Christian pro-life ministry since 1979. She has served in various roles with with Amnion CPC's national affiliate, CareNet, which has over 800 affiliated crisis pregnancy centers throughout the U.S. and Canada. She served Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania as a volunteer, board president, and in 1985, she became that Center's Executive Director. In 1990, she helped start Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center located in Burnsville, Minnesota and serves as their Executive Director. Since 1991, she has been a CareNet Consultant serving to train center volunteers, provide consultations to Center Directors and Boards for crisis pregnancy centers in the Upper Midwest region of the United States. She has developed and is involved in middle and high school interactive abstinence presentations in her community. Ms. Lamont holds a Organizational Management degree from Bethel University in MN.
