The nationally known "Artspace," non-profit developer for the arts is visiting Crookston April 14th and 15th!

Cathedral Arts Centre Feasibility Study

Thorough marketing research, both secondary and primary, plus total development costs will provide input into a comparative business plan.  We will include energy saving features and then compare and contrast a summer facility versus a year round facility in the former Cathedral on Ash Street, Crookston, Minnesota.

Union Building

We have found some support for a permanent supportive apartments for those that are very low income and some that have experienced homelessness.   The funding gap could be filled by the Federal Home Loan Bank's "Affordable Housing Program" if a lender will step up to sponsor the grant application.  We hope to preserve the retail presence on Robert Street as well.

Program 4

Lyceum/CP & G Building

This historic building which was once the Lyceum Theatre was also home to Crookston Paint & Glass for the past 60 years is being rehabbed with the help of  the Minnesota Historical Society's Grant-in-aid program.  We have stabilized the east wall and will be working on the exterior east wall and front of this building this summer.  It will be home to new thrift store to benefit Prairie Skyline Foundation's endeavors.

Funding Needs

Membership Dues are only $10 annually and are due in November.  Donations are accepted anytime and you can designate which project you prefer or general operating.  Donors are recognized on each building project.
